Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly’s president, attended a meeting on Monday between the representatives of Al Ahly Football Company and officials representing several departments of the club’s football sector.
Hossam Ghaly, Al Ahly Football Company member, and Amr Shahyn, the Company’s executive director, represented Al Ahly Football Company in the meeting.
The meeting saw the presence of Khaled Bibo, the head of the club’s youth sector, Michal Prokeš, the manager of the club’s youth sector, Abdolmonem Shatta, general manager of the club’s academies, Amir Tawfik, the head of marketing and transfers, Hanan El Zainy, director of licensing and regulations and Zakaria Nassef, member of the club’s planning committee.
During the meeting, El Khatib discussed the steps that the club has taken to establish Al Ahly Football Company and the club’s objectives behind this decision, adding that the club has complete trust in the abilities of the company’s officials.
El Khatib said that today’s meeting comes as part of a series of preparatory meetings to inform the company’s officials with the working strategy of the club’s football sector and the role of each department.
Prokeš made a full presentation of the club’s youth teams and the facilities and infrastructure of the youth sector in the club while Khaled Bibo spoke about the sector’s financial and administrative system.
Shatta discussed the strategy of the club’s academies, Tawfik gave a brief about the transfers department’s efforts and future plans while El Zainy highlighted the regulations department and its role to support the club in different legal cases.
