Francis Ricciardone, President of the American University in Cairo (AUC), expressed his happiness to announce the details of the educational partnership with Al Ahly SC in a press conference that was held on Sunday at Al Ahly’s premises in Gezira. 

 “AUC is proud to cooperate with Al Ahly, which is considered one of the leading sports associations. I am also proud to be part of this great project alongside the president Mahmoud El Khatib.”

“I expect a huge success for this project especially that AUC has a lot of experts in many fields, which is also the same thing for Al Ahly, who are considered to be one of the most successful sports institutions.” 

Through the partnership with one of the most prestigious universities in the Middle East, the club aims to prepare qualified cadres on administrative, sports, and media levels to be able to meet the demands of the fast-developing industry, which turned out to be a huge field for investment and a key pillar of the economy of different countries. 

The project is set to go through different stages, starting from certified sports programs, which will be followed by internships at the club’s different departments to obtain the masters degree. 
 
Finally, the club believes in the value of education and its important role in keeping up with global developments.
