Ammar Hamdy, Al Ahly’s midfielder, picked up a knee injury during the team’s training session at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
Hamdy was unable to continue the team’s training match after picking up a knee injury and was accompanied by Ahmed Abu Abla, the team’s doctor, to the hospital.
The Red Eagles are currently preparing to face C.F. Monterrey of Mexico in the preliminary round of the FIFA Club World Cup on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
