Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president and the head of Al Ahly’s delegation in Morroco, gifted Yasser Othman, Egypt’s Ambassador to Morroco, with Al Ahly’s shield and pennant on Thursday.

El Khatib and several of Al Ahly’s board members were keen to accept Ambassador Othman’s invitation for iftar. 

El Khatib thanked Othman and the representatives of Egypt’s embassy in Morroco for their support and hospitality during the team’s stay in Morroco.

While, Othman wished Al Ahly all the best of luck in Friday’s game against Raja in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

Al Ahly is set to face Raja of Casablanca on Friday at 10:00 PM, Moroccan time, in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals at Stade Mohammed V.
