Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s director of football, was keen to inspect Sudan’s Military Sports Stadium’s pitch, which will host Al Ahly’s pre-match training session. 

The Red Eagles will not train today at Al Hilal Stadium, as it will be hosting Al Hilal’s game against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League group stage. 

On a similar note, Al Ahly are currently sitting in second place, three points behind Tanzania’s Simba SC, with a total of seven points in four games.
