Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s director of football, reflected on the team’s triumph of the CAF Super Cup.   

In his post-match interview, Abdlehafiz spoke on the team’s 2-0 win over RS Berkane in the CAF Super Cup, in addition to addressing the team’s last period.

“Thank God we were able to defeat Sundowns and win the CAF Super Cup in a span of two weeks. Winning the CAF Super Cup means a lot to us as it was missing from the club’s cabinet for the last 7 years.”

“Of course, winning tastes good and now we are going to concentrate on what’s next .”

Abdelhafiz concluded that Al Ahly fans always demand more from the team, as they will now ask the team to win the league title.
