Al Ahly will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Masry in the Egyptian Premier League at Alexandria’s Borg El Arab Stadium on Sunday.
The match, part of the league’s 13th round, is scheduled to kick off at 20:00 local time (GMT+2).
The defending champions sit on 22 points from 11 matches, while Masry occupy third place with 19.
Al Ahly have dominated past encounters between the two sides, winning 73 of their 129 league meetings. Masry have won 20, with the remaining 36 ending in draws.
The Red Eagles head into the match eager to claim victory and maintain their momentum in the title race, but coach Jess Thorup will be without several key players.
Striker Mohamed Sherif, Hussein El-Shahat, Emam Ashour, and Achraf Dari are all sidelined through injury.
Thorup has also omitted Mohamed Ben Romdhane from the squad due to muscle fatigue.
