Egyptian Premier League champions Al Ahly SC begin their title defence in the final phase of the domestic competition against Ceramica Cleopatra FC on Tuesday.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 2000 local time (1800 GMT) at the Arab Contractors Stadium in Cairo.
Since Ceramica Cleopatra were promoted to the top flight in the 2020-21 season, the two sides have met 11 times in the league.
Al Ahly have won nine of those encounters, with the other two ending in draws.
The Cairo club have scored 26 goals and conceded six across those matches.
Al Ahly’s biggest wins in the fixture include two 4-0 victories in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, a 5-2 win in the first round of the current 2024-25 campaign, and a 4-1 triumph in the 2023-24 season.
