Al Ahly face Spanish side CE Europa in friendly

Al Ahly’s first team will play their second friendly match during the current training camp in Spain on Friday, when they take on Spanish side CE Europa at 19:00 (GMT+3) at CEF Bosc de Tosca Stadium.

The match against CE Europa comes after Al Ahly’s 3–0 victory over Spanish side CF Badalona in their first friendly.

Al Ahly dominated the match, with goals from Ali Mahmoud, Aqtay Abdallah, and Ahmed Mostafa Zizo.

Head coach Hussein Ammouta is using the friendly matches to settle on his starting lineup, improve the players’ technical and physical readiness, and prepare the entire squad ahead of the start of the new season’s official competitions.

Al Ahly’s training camp in Spain will continue until 20 August.

The preparatory camp will conclude with a match against Spanish giants Barcelona on 19 August at Spotify Camp Nou in the friendly Joan Gamper Trophy.
