Al Ahly continued their preparations for Saturday’s match against Pharco in the fifth round of the Egyptian League Cup.
The Red Eagles trained at the El Tetsh ground, with the session beginning with fitness work before moving on to small-sided games, during which the coaching staff focused on tactical and technical aspects.
Head coach Jess Thorup has also held a series of meetings with his assistants as he plans for a demanding period ahead, with key challenges looming in domestic competitions and the CAF Champions League.
