Al Ahly medical staff headed by Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, announced that first-team player Amr El Gazar has successfully undergone surgery in Germany.
The surgery, performed at a hospital in Munich under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Prall, involved arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee, along with a repair of the medial meniscus.
El Gazar is scheduled to return to Cairo with Dr. Ahmed Gaballah next Friday, when he will begin the first phase of his rehabilitation.
