Al Ahly continue preparations for Young Africans game

 Al Ahly first football team continued their preparations for the upcoming match against Young Africans, scheduled for Friday evening in the third round of the CAF Champions League group-stage.

The Red Eagles held a training session today at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in El Gezira, where players went through a variety of physical drills. Goalkeepers, meanwhile, underwent an intensive training program as part of the buildup to the match.

Head coach Jess Thorup was keen to implement several specialized tactical exercises before concluding the session with a high-intensity match simulation involving all players, following the return of the international players to training over the past few hours.

Al Ahly will face Young Africans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at Alexandria’s Borg El Arab Stadium, in the third round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Al Ahly are in the driving seat of Group B with four points, after a 4–1 victory over Algeria’s JS Kabylie at home and a 1-1 draw away to Morocco’s AS FAR.
