Al Ahly’s first team continued training at the club’s Mukhtar El Tetsh Stadium in Gezira as preparations continued for their upcoming match against Abu Qir Fertilizers in the fifth matchday of the Egyptian Premier League.
The Red Eagles are scheduled to face Abu Qir Fertilizers at Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday.
Head coach Hussein Ammouta held a brief team meeting before training began with a series of physical exercises, in line with the coaching staff’s preparations for the match.
The goalkeepers underwent an intensive training session before the squad moved on to tactical work and position-specific drills.
The coaching staff then organized a competitive practice match involving the players.
Meanwhile, Yasser Ibrahim and Ahmed Nabil Koka continued their physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs as they recover from injury.
Al Ahly drew 1-1 with Arab Contractors in their previous match in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
