Al Ahly finalise preparations for JS Kabylie clash in CAF Champions League

Al Ahly’s first team held their final training session on Friday ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League group-stage opener against Algeria’s JS Kabylie, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. (GMT+2) at Cairo International Stadium.

Media were allowed to attend the first 15 minutes of the session in line with tournament regulations. Head coach Jess Thorup held a pre-training briefing with the squad to discuss tactical and technical aspects of the match.

The session included warm-ups followed by tactical drills and ball exercises.

The match’s technical meeting was also held on Friday, reviewing organisational protocols and confirming arrangements for the fixture.

Official kits for both teams were approved: Al Ahly will wear their traditional red shirts, white shorts, and red socks, with the goalkeeper in black and grey.

JS Kabylie will wear yellow and green shirts, yellow shorts and socks, while their goalkeeper will wear a full purple kit.
