Al Ahly board of directors, headed by Mahmoud El Khatib, assigned Al Ahly’s director of football Sayed Abdelhafiz, Al Ahly’s director of marketing and transfers Amir Tawfik, and Al Ahly’s academy director Khaled Bebo to travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to select the new design of Al Ahly’s kit.

The board’s decision came after Umbro, Al Ahly’s official kit supplier sent an official invitation to the club.
