Al Ahly's SC board sent a letter of protest to the Egyptian Football Association to express their disapproval and objection against the referee mistakes during the team's games in the Egyptian Premier League. 

Al Ahly pointed to the last game against Al Ittihad, as it witnessed a lot of mistakes which affected the match's result. Al Ahly also stressed on the importance of match observers' roles during the games in order to minimize these fatal mistakes.

Al Ahly's board has also expressed their objection against Al Ittihad's game referee attitude, as he used to provoke the players and the coaching staff during the game.

Al Ahly also pointed to that the mentioned referee has officiated 4 games for Al Ahly this season, while the 1st ranked referee only took charge of one match.
