Al Ahly Executive Director Dr. Saad Shalaby confirmed on Tuesday that a minor fire broke out in one of the restaurants at the club’s Nasr City branch but caused no injuries or significant damage.
“The club's security and safety systems effectively contained the fire immediately,” Shalaby said.
He explained that the fire originated from the high temperature of the restaurant’s chimney.
“The civil protection services responded promptly, ensuring no harm to club staff or members,” Shalaby added.
