Al Ahly visit Morocco’s AS FAR Rabat on Friday in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage, with the match to be played at Complexe Sportif Moulay Abdellah. Kickoff is at 2100 local time (1900 GMT).
The Egyptian champions arrived in Morocco on Wednesday to continue preparations for the Group B clash.
The two sides have met only once previously, in the African Super Cup, where Al Ahly claimed the title with a 4-2 win on penalties.
Al Ahly opened their group campaign on Saturday with a 4-1 victory over Algeria’s JS Kabylie, having reached the stage by beating Burundi’s Aigle Noir 2-0 on aggregate in the second preliminary round.
The record 12-time African champions are grouped with Tanzania’s Young Africans, AS FAR and JS Kabylie.
