Defending champions Al Ahly have been drawn against Tunisian side Esperance Sportive de Tunis in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals, following the draw ceremony in Cairo on Tuesday.
The first leg of the North African heavyweight clash will take place in Tunisia between 13-15 March, with the return leg scheduled for Cairo a week later on 20-22 March.
The draw was conducted at the Egyptian Football Association headquarters in 6th of October City, attended by officials from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and club representatives.
Al Ahly, seeking to extend their record tally of 12 Champions League titles, progressed to the knockout stages as Group B winners with 10 points.
