Al Ahly’s first team will complete their preparations at 9 p.m. Cairo time (GMT+2) on Thursday with a training session at Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium, the venue for Friday’s match against AS FAR in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
The squad held their first training session in Morocco on Wednesday evening at the Royal Armed Forces Sports Association pitch.
The session included a 20-minute physical workout featuring running around the field, and ended with an intense training game.
Al Ahly opened their Group B campaign with a 4-1 win over Algeria’s JS Kabylie on Saturday.
The 12-time African champions are drawn in Group B alongside Tanzania’s Young Africans, Morocco’s AS FAR and Algeria’s JS Kabylie.
