Al Ahly winger Ahmed Sayed "Zizo" has been diagnosed with a grade two groin strain following medical examinations, including an ultrasound and MRI scan, the club’s doctor Ahmed Gaballah said on Tuesday.
Gaballah confirmed that the 29-year-old has already begun a personalised treatment and rehabilitation programme and will be closely monitored ahead of his return to full fitness.
Zizo signalled to the bench after experiencing muscle discomfort during the first half of Al Ahly’s 1-1 draw with Enppi in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.
