Al Ahly senior football team doctor Ahmed Gaballah confirmed that midfielder Emam Ashour has fully recovered from the knee bruise he sustained during the match against ENPPI.
Gaballah said Ashour took part normally in training sessions on Monday and Tuesday at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in El Gezira after being declared medically fit.
The team held an intense training session on Tuesday as preparations continued for the May 20 clash against Al Masry in the final round of the season.
Al Ahly beat ENPPI 3-0 in their previous league match, with goals from Hussein El Shahat, Ahmed Sayed “Zizo” and Achraf Bencharki at Cairo Stadium.
