Al Ahly's board of directors, headed by president Mahmoud El Khatib, held an important meeting on Monday at the club's premises in Gezira to discuss several important files.

Here is what the board decided on during today’s meeting:

- The appointment of major general Omar Mamdouh as the head of security for the club’s premises in Sheikh Zayed.

-The appointment of Dr. Ahmed Samir as the head of the swimming complex for the club’s premises in Sheikh Zayed.

-The appointment of Dr.Hany Eissa as the head of services for the club’s premises in Sheikh Zayed.

-Building a new gym in the club’s premises in Sheikh Zayed and assigning the club’s engineering consultant to analyze the appropriate location to build a new gym in Al Ahly’s premises in Nasr City and Gezira.

The club’s board of directors also approved the below positions for the following people:

• Mohamed Mselhy: head coach of Al Ahly men’s volleyball team
• Hamdy El Safy: head coach of Al Ahly women’s volleyball team
• Wagih Hamdy: head of Al Ahly’s volleyball youth academies
• Yasser El Ramly: Al Ahly’s handball director
• Tarek Mahrous: head coach of Al Ahly men’s handball team
• Yehia Youssef: head coach of Al Ahly women’s handball team
• Assem Hamed: head of Al Ahly’s handball youth academies
• Ali Hashem: head coach of Al Ahly women’s basketball team
• El Sayed Saber: head of Al Ahly’s basketball youth academies
• Wael Ezzat: head of Al Ahly’s water polo coaching staff
• Yasser Daoud: director of Al Ahly’s water polo team
• Morad Assem: head of Al Ahly’s karate coaching staff
• Mohamed Fouad: head of Al Ahly’s gymnastics coaching staff
• Sherin Adel: head of Al Ahly’s squash coaching staff
• Ashraf Abdelfattah: head of Al Ahly’s table tennis team
