Al Ahly football director Wael Gomaa said head coach Hussein Ammouta will arrive in Cairo on Monday after completing some personal commitments.
Ammouta is scheduled to lead the team’s training session on Tuesday as preparations begin for the next stage following the international break.
The team resumed training on Sunday evening at Mokhtar El Tetsh Stadium after the players were given four days off during the international break.
The coaching staff will focus in the coming period on preparing the players physically and technically for the upcoming matches, with an emphasis on improving their readiness and making the most of the international break.
