Al Ahly’s President, Captain Mahmoud El Khatib congratulated our players, and the club’s coaching, administrative, and medical staff on winning the bronze medal in the FIFA Club World Cup. 

Also, El Khatib congratulated our fans, club members, and the board members on fulfilling such a historic achievement. 

Al Ahly’s bronze medal achievement brought happiness to millions of Egyptians as well as our fans in Doha, who supported the team since the arrival to Qatar and throughout the team’s journey in the tournament.

Moreover, Al Ahly’s President praised our fans, as they always set an example through their loyalty and support of Al Ahly everywhere. 

El Khatib added that this attitude is not new for Al Ahly fans, who play a huge role in the club's achievements. 

Additionally, El Khatib praised the heroic performance of our players, who stepped up to the mission and represented Al Ahly and our beloved country in a perfect way. 

El Khatib expressed his full appreciation to the Egyptian leadership and authorities for their constant support to the Egyptian clubs that represent Egypt in the international events. 

Finally, Al Ahly’s President saluted the teams that participated in the competition: Germany's FC Bayern Munich, Mexico's Tigres UANL, Qatar's Al Duhail SC and South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai FC, praising the good spirit that prevailed in the competition.
