Al Ahly President Mahmoud El Khatib congratulated the club’s men's handball team, along with the coaching, administrative, and medical staff, after they claimed the Egyptian Super Cup for the third consecutive year.
El Khatib praised the team's victory over Smouha, secured on Friday evening, commending the players' high spirits, technical skill, and physical conditioning throughout the match at Khalifa bin Zayed Hall in Al Ain, UAE.
The club president emphasized that the players’ determination and perseverance were crucial to securing the title and adding yet another achievement to the team's storied history, especially following their recent triumph in the African Clubs Championship in Morocco.
El Khatib also noted that winning the Egyptian Super Cup would serve as a powerful motivator for the team to compete for every available title this season.
He underlined the responsibility the team now carries to continue making Al Ahly fans proud, recognizing their unwavering support as the club's greatest source of strength in all endeavors.
