Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly’s president, accepted an invitation of Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al Thani, the president of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), and visited the headquarters of the QFA in Doha.

El Khatib met the QFA president in the presence of Wael Gomaa, Al Ahly’s former defender, Mansour Al Ansari, the Secretary-General of QFA, and Ali Daoud, the Executive Director of the QFA's president. 

Moreover, El Khatib thanked the QFA officials for the warm reception and generous hospitality during the team’s accommodation in Doha. 

Additionally, El Khatib acknowledged the efforts of the organizing committee of the CAF Super Cup game, praising the constructions and the stadiums that have been built in preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Finally, our president wished Qatar all the best in hosting such a prestigious event.
