El Nahas: Al Ahly claimed a well-deserved win over Ismailia Electricity

Al Ahly’s interim head coach, Emad El Nahas, confirmed that the team secured an important and well-deserved 4-2 victory over Ismailia Electricity in their Egyptian Premier League clash on Saturday at Arab Contractors Stadium, marking the club’s fourth consecutive win.

“Matches that come after a derby are always difficult, but we managed to win with a strong performance and result,” El Nahas told the post game’s press conference.

“We were also reassured about the condition of all our players. I wish the best of luck to those joining their respective national teams,” he added.

El Nahas praised the squad, saying all players fulfilled their roles and that the coaching staff has full confidence in everyone, stressing that each match comes with its own circumstances.

“We now have a short break, after which we will begin preparations for the trip to Burundi. We are indeed struggling with a number of injuries affecting several players recently.”

El Nahas concluded by highlighting the importance of luck in football, acknowledging that Ismailia Electricity put in a strong performance, and noted that some mistakes were made that the team will work to correct.
