Kandil: We deserved the victory

Our board member Tarik Kandil stated after the 2-0 victory over Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League semi-final first leg on Saturday night that the Red Eagles played a great game and deserved the victory.

Kandil praised the players' heroic performance, high spirit and tactical discipline during the match.

Kandil hailed the Club President Mahmoud El Khatib’s efforts with the delegation in Morocco and the amazing atmosphere that helped to get the best out of the players.

Our board member congratulated the players, the coaching staff and Al Ahly fans on the victory, stressing on the need to be alert as the team still has 90 minutes in Cairo to secure qualification to the final.
