Al Ahly succeeded to reach round 8 in the Egyptian Cup after defeating Tersana SC in tonights's game at Al Ahly Stadium.
The Red Eagles started the match in a good way as our winger Junior Ajayi scored the opener in the 7th minute of the match.

The 15th minute witnessed a dangerous scoring opportunity for Tersana, but the ball went away of the bar.

Ajayi succeeded to score the second goal after a brilliant cross from Hussien El Shahat. Ajayi's brace gave the Red Eagles the lead during the first half despite conceding a goal in the 42nd minute after a header from Ibrahim Mansour.

Our head coach made the first substitution with the beginning of the second half as Hany joined the game instead of Wahid. In the 63rd minute, Kahrba joined the game instead of Marwan.

Hamdy Fathy missed a great scoring opportunity in the 69th minute, as he shot the goal over the bar after a defensive lapse from Tersana players.

Aliou Badji left the pitch after being substituted by Mohamed Shokry. Al Ahly kept the pressure to score the third goal, but Ajayi's shot was blocked by the goalkeeper to prevent him from scoring the hatrick.

 The referee blew his final whistle to declare that Al Ahly reached to round 8 in the Egyptian Cup.
