Al Ahly’s board of directors approved during their meeting, which was held on Monday night, the formation of Al Ahly’s delegation, heading to Qatar to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled between 4 and 11 February.
Al Ahly’s President Captain Mahmoud El Khatib will head the club’s delegation, which will include: Eng. Khaled Mortagy, Al Ahly’s board member and the club’s Coordinator in FIFA, Mohamed Morgan, Al Ahly’s Executive Director and the club’s Security Coordinator in FIFA, Gamal Gabr, Head of Al Ahly’s Media Department and Dr. Mohamed Shawky, Head of Al Ahly’s Medical Committee.
The delegation will also include Amir Tawfik, Al Ahly’s Director of Marketing and Transfers, Ashraf Omar, Deputy of Marketing and Transfers, and Hanan El Zainy, Al Ahly’s Director of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, as well as the team players and the coaching staff.
The Red Eagles will take on Qatar’s Al Duhail SC on 4 February and the winner will face German champions, Bayern Munich, on 8 February.
