Al Ahly’s Tunisian defender Ali Maalol will not be available for Al Ahly’s trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo to face AS Vita Club in the fourth fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Our head of medical staff, Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, stated that Maaloul felt pain in his hamstring during the final phase of the rehabilitation program, adding that the player underwent a scan and they are waiting for the MRI results.
The player will initially follow a rehabilitation program for the next two or three weeks.
Also, Dr. Abu Abla added that Taher Mohamed Taher and Ayman Ashraf are ready to support the team in the game against AS Vita Club.
