Mariam El Ezaby, and Farah Tarek, Al Ahly’s karatekas, clinched two gold medals in the 2021 African Karate Championship.
Mariam and her teammate Farah put on a great performance and collected two gold medals in Kumite karate.
El Ezaby managed to win the gold medal in the competition’s mixed singles, while Tarek collected the gold medal in the competition’s girls’ singles.
The tournament witnessed the participation of 314 players, including 43 players who represent the Egyptian national karate team.
