Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy was keen to congratulate Al Ahly on winning the bronze medal in the FIFA Club World Cup for the second time in the club’s history.

Following Al Ahly’s victory over Palmeiras in the bronze medal game of the FIFA Club World Cup, the official Facebook page of the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports posted:

“Al Ahly deserved to defeat Brazil’s Palmeiras due to the players’ amazing performance. They were keen to please all of Al Ahly fans by winning the bronze medal.”

Lastly, Minister Sobhy congratulated Al Ahly’s board of directors, Al Ahly’s coaching and administrative staff, players, and all the fans on such a huge achievement.
