President Khatib Receives “African Club of the Century & Top Winning Titles in the Middle East” Award

Our President Captain Mahmoud El Khatib received the "African Club of the Century & Top Winning Titles in the Middle East" award at the Globe Soccer Awards event, which was held in Dubai.

Captain El Khatib thanked Dubai Sports Council and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s Initiative for their constant support of the Middle Eastern and international football.

Moreover, he added that the selection of Al Ahly to represent the African and Middle Eastern football in today’s ceremony is a huge honor for the club.

“Al Ahly always aspire to be a leading ambassador for the African and Middle Eastern football in such huge international events.”

“Winning such a prestigious award adds more responsibility on us at Al Ahly. Also, it demands from all of those who are affiliated with the club to put more efforts to represent Al Ahly in the best possible manner on both the African and the international levels.” 

Captain El Khatib received an invitation ten days ago from Globe Soccer Awards to attend the event alongside several leading figures in the world of football. 

Globe Soccer’s organization selects the winners of each award based on the opinion of some of the elite experts in the football field, in addition to the votes of the football fans.
