Al Ahly’s three players: Taher Mohamed Taher, Badr Benoun, and Ahmed Rayan added their names today to Al Ahly’s list of players, who scored in the African competitions.

The aforementioned players were able to find the net tonight in Al Ahly’s 4-0 victory over AS SONIDEP in the second leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32.

Al Ahly’s attacking player, Taher managed to score his first African goal in Al Ahly’s red jersey in the 13th minute of Al Ahly’s game against AS SONIDEP.

In the 67th minute of the match, our defender Badr Benoun added his name to the list, when he scored Al Ahly’s third goal after converting Al Ahly’s penalty successfully into the net.

Al Ahly’s winger, Mahmoud Kahraba then wrote his name in the history books after scoring his first African goal with the Red Eagles in the 90th minute of the game.

It is important to note that Al Ahly’s President Captain Mahmoud El Khatib holds the record of scoring the most goals for Al Ahly in the African competitions, having scored a total of 37 goals.
