Marcel Koller, our head coach spoke to the media about his second time in the FIFA Club World Cup with Al Ahly.

Koller expressed his excitement for this version of the FCWC, the team’s preparations, and how he’s thrilled to see the fans support the Eagles on this special occasion, Koller also assures that the team is ready for Al Ittihad.

“Last time we participated in FCWC we put on a great performance but this time we have something to prove, we want to be better and we want to score more goals,”

“This competition is putting a lot of pressure on the whole team since Al Ahly fans only want to win, we appreciate that, and we always strive to make them happy by renewing the motivations of the players,”

“ Our preparations will not differ from last year, but we hope that our fans will be present in large numbers in the stands so that the players receive sufficient support that will help them provide the best performance possible."
