Abdelhafiz: We Seek a Strong Start in CAF Champions League

Our Director of Football Sayed Abdelhafiz said that the team is seeking to defeat AS SONIDEP to make a good start in our journey towards defending our title. 

“Al Ahly have a great ambition to win the title for the tenth time, and this motivates the players to achieve great results in the champions league.” 

“We are dealing with AS SONIDEP’s game with great professionalism, as our board of directors provided the team with a private plane to ease our trip to Niger and keep the players safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.” 

“We totally respect AS SONIDEP, but we are confident and ready to put on a great performance against them, despite missing our head coach Pisto Mosimane and our players Ramy Rabia, Amr El Soulia, and Afsha after testing positive for COVID-19."
