Al Ahly’s board of directors, headed by captain Mahmoud El Khatib, assigned Raouf Abdelkader, director of sports activities, to provide a shortlist of managers who can take charge of the men’s basketball team.

Mario Palma, the team’s former coach, left Al Ahly last month after his contract came to end with the club.
