Al Ahly’s General Assembly reached the required legal quorum during its second meeting on Friday, paving the way for the start of vote counting in the club’s elections, the head of the judicial oversight committee said.
Counselor Zaki Shalkami, Deputy Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority and chairman of the committee supervising the elections, said voting closed at 7 p.m. local time (GMT+2) before officials began tallying the ballots.
