Al Ahly’s first-team squad resumed training on Sunday evening at the Mokhtar El Tetsh Stadium at the club’s Gezira headquarters as they prepare to face Arab Contractors in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday.
The Red Eagles returned to training after a 24-hour rest period as part of the coaching staff’s preparations for the upcoming fixtures.
The session featured a range of physical exercises, while the goalkeepers underwent an intensive workout before the squad moved on to tactical and specialised drills under head coach Hussein Ammouta and his coaching staff.
Al Ahly secured a 1-0 victory over Smouha in the third round, taking their tally to nine points in the league.
