Ahmed Abu Abla, Al Ahly’s doctor, has brought some positive developments regarding our Moroccan defender, Badr Benoun.
The player underwent a check-up with the medical staff of the Moroccan national team and it showed satisfactory results.
Abu Abla confirmed that the player is fully recovered from the complications of COVID-19 and he has been carrying out some fitness drills for the last three weeks. Benoun’s recovery will continue with a specific training program in Morocco and he is monitored regularly before taking a decision on his return to training.
Everyone connected with Al Ahly hopes our defender will be back out on the pitch very soon.
