Al Ahly continue training for Arab Contractors clash
Al Ahly’s senior football squad continued training on Monday at the club’s Mokhtar El Tetsh Stadium in Gezira as preparations intensify for their upcoming clash against Arab Contractors, scheduled for Wednesday evening on Matchday 4 of the Egyptian Premier League.
Head coach Hussein Ammouta held a tactical meeting with the players, using the session to explain a number of technical and tactical instructions and highlight key areas of focus ahead of the match.
The players began their training programme with a series of physical exercises in the gym before moving onto the pitch to complete the session, which featured a variety of fitness and technical drills.
Ammouta’s coaching staff also worked with the squad on several tactical patterns and exercises, with particular emphasis on improving the players’ physical and technical readiness ahead of the Arab Contractors encounter.
Al Ahly’s goalkeepers completed a separate training programme on the sidelines, following the schedule laid out by the coaching staff and goalkeeping coach.
The session concluded with a competitive practice match involving all the players.
Ammouta closely monitored their physical and technical condition throughout the game while assessing how well they had absorbed and implemented the instructions covered during training.
Al Ahly will face Arab Contractors on Wednesday evening on Matchday 4 of the Egyptian Premier League, with the team continuing its preparations in pursuit of victory and a strong start to its campaign.
