Al Ahly doctor provides update on Karim Fouad’s injury

Al Ahly first football team doctor Ahmed Gaballah said Karim Fouad, currently with the national team camp for the Arab Cup, will undergo an intensive rehabilitation program following knee injuries.

The player suffered sprains to both the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and the medial collateral ligament (MCL) during national team duty, ruling him out of the tournament.

Gaballah added that the national team coaching staff had been contacted in recent hours to monitor Fouad’s condition and coordinate the first phase of his recovery protocol.

He also said there is full coordination between Al Ahly’s first-team coaching staff and the national team to determine the next steps in the player’s rehabilitation.
