Egyptian security authorities have approved Al Ahly’s request to host a full-capacity crowd at Cairo International Stadium for Saturday’s CAF Champions League group-stage opener against Algeria’s JS Kabylie.

Al Ahly's Board of Directors, led by club president Mahmoud El Khatib, has appointed board member Tarek Kandil to head the team’s delegation for their upcoming CAF Champions League match in Morocco.

Al Ahly’s first football team have been drawn to face Telecom Egypt (WE SC) in the Egypt Cup Round of 32, according to Saturday’s draw held in the presence of representatives from the participating clubs.
